About Windsor Locks

Windsor Locks is a town of about 12,610 people in Hartford County, split from Windsor in 1854 and named for the 1829 canal locks that bypassed the Enfield Falls on the Connecticut River. Its defining feature is Bradley International Airport, which occupies about a third of the town, along with aerospace employer Collins Aerospace (formerly Hamilton Sundstrand).
