Palmhurst (pop. 2,601 in the 2020 census) is a small, quiet residential city tucked between Alton, Mission, and the Sharyland area on the metro's west side. It's primarily a bedroom community of single-family homes with no real commercial core of its own — residents shop and dine in neighboring Mission and McAllen.
