About Damascus
Damascus is an unincorporated community (2020 Census CDP population ~11,000) in Clackamas County between Happy Valley and Boring. It incorporated as a city in 2004 and then disincorporated in 2016 after years of land-use disputes, reverting to county governance. Today it is a semi-rural residential area of acreage homes, small farms, and newer subdivisions along OR-212, valued for space and a country feel within reach of the metro.
