Dundee is a small city (2026 estimate about 3,180) on OR-99W between Newberg and Dayton, and the core community of the Dundee Hills AVA — the Willamette Valley sub-appellation most associated with Oregon Pinot noir. The highway through town is lined with tasting rooms and winery signs and the red-soil hills rising west of downtown hold some of the valley's most vineyards, including Domaine Drouhin Oregon. Dundee is a wine-tourism hub first and a Portland exurb second.
